Nutrition details
Diet is important not only as a source of energy, but also a source of vitamins, minerals and substances needed to regenerate our body. The combination of a properly set diet with regular aerobic activities represents a successful journey towards a slim and healthy body.
The boxed diet will lead to towards regularity and diversity of the menu, at the same time, it is easy to monitor one´s daily energy intake. It is important for the body to receive the optimal ratio of macronutrients it requires, including proteins, carbohydrates and fats. All of these macro nutrients have an irreplaceable function in the body.
Quality protein is an integral part of your daily diet. Thus one should not forget about a sufficient daily supply of protein. The correct number depends on age, gender, weight, physical activity and health status.
Carbohydrates are the energy source for our body, where they are stored in the form of liver and muscle glycogen. However, with an excessive intake of carbohydrates (especially simple sugars), they also start to be stored in the form of fat, which we certainly do not want. Therefore, it is important to first and foremost include complex carbohydrates in the diet, which are a source of fiber and satiety. Experts recommend that 40-60% of energy intake per day is to be coming from carbohydrates. This is also the reason why we minimize the use of simple carbohydrates in the boxes and rather replace them with complex ones.
We try to include foods rich in health in our diet unsaturated fats - eg by more frequent occurrence of fish and a wide range of nuts and seeds. Intake of omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids has a positive effect on heart health, brain functioning and immune system. Fats are also essential for absorption of vitamins A, D, E, K from the diet.
We take all this knowledge into account when preparing programs, and menus, and therefore these are developed under the scrutiny of nutrition specialists.
