Information about cookies

Cookies are small software files that allow us to store information about your device and you as a user only when you visit one of our websites.

Cookies used

Cookies are small software files that allow us to store information about your device and you as a user only when you visit one of our websites.

Our website uses two types of cookies, depending on where the data sent by the cookies goes. Own cookies, i.e. cookies communicating with the domain of this site and third-party cookies, i.e. cookies whose data is sent from your computer to a third party, for example Google Analytics cookies, which enable us to create statistics on the number of visitors to our site. We do not control the use of these cookies and cannot provide access to them because only the party that originally set them can access them. More information about these cookies can be found on the website of a specific third party.

From the point of view of purpose, we also divide cookies into two groups. Those from the first group enable this website to function and adapt to the device from which you are viewing it (so-called technical cookies), and the second are used to analyze traffic and user movement on the website. They can be used when displaying advertising and help to select advertising that corresponds to your preferences or your type (so-called marketing cookies).

How cookies work

A cookie is a small amount of data that the web server sends to the browser, which then stores it on your computer, tablet or other device from which you access the website. Every time you visit the same server again, the browser sends this data back to the web server.

Cookies are normally used to distinguish between individual users (more precisely, their browsers), store user preferences, etc. They are also used to let the server know what statuses you have gone through on the website, and to be able to return to the previous page, for example. Cookies can also be set on the server side. As such, cookies do not represent executable code and are not dangerous for your computer, but they can be a means of encroaching on your privacy. The website you visit can store in Cookies any data it finds out about you during your stay on the website, it can track what interests you, which pages you stayed on longer, it can store your entire journey through the website. Cookies contain information about how long they should be kept. Some are one-time/temporary and expire when you close your browser or log out of the site, others can last for months or years and recognize you when you visit the site again. In the event that your computer is attacked, the attacker can obtain your personal data from cookies and in some cases can prove your identity to the web server you visit.

The website operator is required by legislation to inform website visitors about the use of cookies, which we do in this text. From the point of view of the legislation (GDPR), cookies are cookies that can be used to identify users or devices used by the user with personal data, and as such the website operator is obliged to protect them, and their processing is only possible in compliance with legal conditions.

The purpose of cookies

Since the http protocol is stateless, some cookies may be necessary for the normal operation of the website. Others serve to improve functions and personalize content, others can track your preferences, can store information that is then pre-filled in forms, can enable tracking of your movements on the Internet or given websites.

Source of cookies

Some cookies may belong to the website operator and work only with the domain on which you are currently viewing the website. But the operator of this site may allow third parties to store cookies on your computer via its site, which provide information to this third party (typically cookies for Google Analytics).

Web signals

They are electronic images (also referred to as single-pixel GIF images) that may help count users who visit these sites and count or track some of their activities. They may also be part of promotional e-mail messages or newsletters, so that it is possible to determine whether they have been read and whether the links contained in them have been used.

Legal conditions for the use of cookies

  • The operator is obliged to inform in an understandable form about the use of cookies and web signals (hereinafter referred to as cookies).
  • The operator is obliged to request consent to the use of cookies before they are stored on the user's computer or before information from cookies is sent to the server. (See Act 468/2011 Coll. on electronic communications or European Parliament and Council Directive 2009/136/EC). This consent may be expressed by browser settings.
  • However, consent is not required for cookies that are used only for the purpose of ensuring the correct function of the pages, their optimization or are necessary for the provider to provide services that the user has expressly requested or analytical services.
  • You have the right to know how data from cookies will be used.
  • You should always have the option to disable or refuse tracking cookies, which you can do through your browser settings. The consequence is less (sometimes significantly less) comfort when moving around the website.
  • You have the right to ask the data administrator (the operator of the site or the person who obtains data from cookies on your computer) to delete or correct this data if you find that it does not correspond to reality.

How to disable third-party cookies

You can also use our products and services without cookies. In your browser, you can deactivate the storage of cookies, limit them only to certain websites, or set the browser to notify you about the sending of cookies. You can also delete cookies from your hard drive on your computer at any time (file: "cookies"). Keep in mind that in such a case, the presentation on the page may be limited, as well as the ability to navigate for the user.
